The basic box types are those called "close", the boxes (bass reflex) open, passive or transmission line. The most common types of boxes are the (bass-reflex) found most commonly in the market.
For a hi-fi speaker, the box should have a much larger volume (usually twice) to have a flat frequency response. Therefore, we are in the market with most Hi-Fi speakers with ventilation. The advantage is that the box is easy to reach or even it does not require great precision in construction.
The Hi Fi loudspeaker ventilation is generally lower because the speaker membrane undergoes a small tour through the same acoustic power. This has the effect of minimizing the distortion due to the nonlinearity of the excursion of the membrane.

What is a good speaker hi-fi

Subjectivity plays an important role in the evaluation of a hi-fi speaker. Your personal tastes and experience high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) are important factors. Over time, our tastes are changing for the experiences that accumulate over time.
Ask yourself the following question: What kind of box is hi-fi audio mixing? Could not hear what the sound engineer and the artist often recorded and mixed in the studio? Getting to what would be a Hi-Fi speakers with similar characteristics to those used in the study.

Hi-Fi Speakers study (study monitor) has the following characteristics: very low distortion, even at high level, rigorous phase response, flat frequency response and extended.
